Andrea Hayden, founder of Salon Visage and The Hair Management Group,  has 28 years of entrepreneurial experience with 39 years in the field of Cosmetology and Trichology. As a beauty pioneer, she brings a wealth of experience to her advisory, coaching and consulting business as a change agent with an abundance mindset.

Andrea is no stranger to immense challenges, losing her mother at 13 months old, started life as the underdog having to chart her own course at an early age. Fun fact….Hayden’s passion for learning positioned her to skip two grades in elementary moving from the 2nd to the 4th grade. Life’s challenges attempted to derail her again with the diagnosis of Systemic Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis at 16 years old and still she persevered. Andrea believes her life’s hardships and hurdles are the reason she’s fueled with passion, resilience and determination; which she considers her “special sauce!” 

Hayden hopes to inspire women to get out of their comfort zone, push through life’s gut punches and get back up and become more intentional in their purpose. She believes when women crush their fears, self-doubt and procrastination, nothing can stop them from creating a life beyond their imagination.

Andrea has built an enterprise whose services extend beyond the styling chair, shifting her business focus from behind the chair to play full out in spaces very few knew she occupied. Hayden states she has offered coaching, consulting and advisory services to business professionals across various industries for years by referral only, she never advertised. After realizing the financial impact on the beauty industry and solopreneurs due to COVID19, she  began mobilizing her contacts for resources to help friends, family and colleagues to secure government loans, PPP, EIDL and community grants helping to stabilize their businesses.

 It became crystal clear, says Andrea, I could not continue the luxury of the secret society of entrepreneurs who knew her services existed. She was compelled to make her services available to help more businesses in need. Hayden says although you may be amazing at your craft and serve at a high level, maintaining sustainable success comes from guided learning and implementing the right foundational structure, automation, systems, and team. However, a crucial part of long term success is the undeniable benefits of blending life balance and mindfulness. 

Featured in Essence magazine, she was listed as one of seven top hair loss experts in the country. A visionary, Andrea has curated and directed global events and educational conferences all over the United States. As the past Director for the International Association of Trichology (IAT) USA, she oversaw all operations for the United States to include establishing the U.S based World Trichology Conference, which brought hundreds of like-minded professionals together from all over the globe.

Andrea received many career recognitions, such the first Marlene Hansen Award from the International Association of Trichologists,  San Antonio Business Journal recipient of the Women's Leadership Award in the Inspirational Leadership category and Lifetime Achievement Award from the Alamo City Beauty Culturist League 

Andrea is thrilled with her latest collaborative book projects with Dr. Cheryl Wood and the legends Les Brown and Dr. George Fraser hit the #1 Best Selling List in three categories and the International Best Seller list. Hayden also teamed up with Dr. Lynn Richardson, finance guru and Hip-Hop Legend MC Lyte to release “Beyond 2020”

Andrea supports the South Central Texas Lupus Foundation, San Antonio Food Bank, and the Animal Shelter. She’s been married to her amazing husband Gene Hayden, Jr, USAF Retired, for 22 years and has one fur-baby named Dolce.
